John Church, Sr. Presidential Scholar

John T. Church was a member of the College’s Board of Trustees for many years. Mr. Church served in the North Carolina General Assembly. The College’s Civic Center is named for Mr. Church. The John T. Church, Sr. Presidential Scholar Award is available to a student enrolled at Vanc-Granville Community College enrolled in at least 9 credit hours and have a college GPA of 3.8 or greater.
