John K. Nelms Presidential Scholar

John K. Nelms is a life long resident of Granville County and served as the local Granville County Economic Developer for many years. He currently serves on the College’s Endowment Board and has been recognized as Board Emeritus of the College’s Board of Trustees. The recipient of the John K. Nelms Presidential Scholar Award will be a resident of Granville County. The recipient must hold a GPA between 3.8 – 4.0 and be enrolled in at least 8 credit hours.
