The concept of Union Bank first began when a group of esteemed businesspeople in Granville County recognized the need for a community bank in north central North Carolina.

From day one, the Bank’s goal has been to make every day better. Like so-called “megabanks,” we offer the latest in technology, but we have never forgotten our roots, nor have we forgotten the commitment of our shareholders, clients, and communities. We began with making our imprint on Granville County and have since expanded into neighboring Franklin, Vance, Person, and Wake Counties with other Union Bank locations. Plans are underway for full service branch locations in Raleigh and Cary to help us make every day better for you!
